Compliance for websites & marketing
Put new rules into practice before they become a problem. We review your website, advertising and social media against current obligations and rework the wording where needed.
What you get
-
Green claims check (EmpCo)
Since 27 September 2026, stricter EU rules apply to environmental claims in advertising aimed at consumers – in Germany and Austria through their unfair competition acts.
- Spotting generic claims such as “eco-friendly” or “climate neutral”
- Assessing sustainability labels and offsetting claims
- Specific wording you can back up instead of buzzwords
- Website, product copy and social media
-
AI transparency (EU AI Act)
Since 2 August 2026, the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act apply: deepfakes must be labelled and chatbots must be recognisable as AI.
- Where do you use AI images, AI videos or a chatbot?
- Labels where they are required or advisable
- Draft AI policy and tool register
- Training that builds your team’s AI literacy
-
Website & online shop
Online shops have new obligations: accessibility under the European Accessibility Act since 28 June 2025 and the withdrawal button since 19 June 2026.
- Accessibility check against WCAG 2.1 AA
- Prioritised list of issues for your developers
- Draft accessibility statement
- Checking the withdrawal button and checkout
-
Social media & advertising
Partnerships, giveaways and profile details: so your posts are labelled properly.
- Labelling ads and partnerships
- Terms of participation for giveaways
- Legal notice and mandatory details in your profile
-
Staying up to date
New rules keep coming. We keep track of what matters for your content – such as the EU’s announced Digital Fairness Act.
- Short notes in your monthly report
- New content created with the rules in mind from the start
- Checks from your credit budget or as a one-off job
Not legal advice: we review from a marketing and implementation perspective and work with your legal adviser in borderline cases.
Who is it for?
For small and medium-sized businesses and online shops that advertise to consumers – especially if they talk about sustainability, use AI content or sell online. Also for B2B companies that want to bring their website and social media channels up to date.
Frequently asked questions
Can’t find your question? Just write to us.
Does the check replace legal advice?
No, we are not a law firm. We review your content from a marketing and implementation perspective, flag risky wording and suggest alternatives. In borderline cases, we recommend involving your legal adviser and are happy to work with them.
Do the new rules on environmental claims affect me if I only sell to businesses?
The new bans apply to advertising aimed at consumers. Misleading environmental claims can cause problems in B2B, too, and many websites reach both audiences. A short check shows whether you need to act.
How does a check work – and what does it cost?
You tell us which pages and channels to look at, we review them and deliver a prioritised list with suggested wording. If you like, we make the changes straight away. Within a package, checks come out of your credit budget; without a package, we quote a price for a one-off job after a quick look.
